This is how we recycle. I put a brown bag next to the trash can and that holds our cans and paper products. I've asked him to put the recycling by the front door before, but I've never asked him to get out a bag or put anything in it.
This morning, I was still in bed and Isaiah jumped on my bed and asked for a snack. I asked him if he thought he could get it himself. He did, and that's the last I thought of it.
Last night, I put the recycling bag by the front door and never put a new one up. Today, after I finished some work, I went to grab a bag to put my paper trash away. There was already one there.
I asked Isaiah about it, and he told me all about his morning snack and he proceeded to show me how he jumped on the box to break it down.
Isaiah had grabbed a new brown bag, broken down the empty ritz cracker box, and put the bag under the sink! What in the world?!
It was just another reminder to me that Isaiah is watching my every move and learning from me. Does that scare any other mama out there? Does it scare you to know that your little ones are watching and learning from your every move? Oh man, I'm so thankful I have my Jesus for guidance! I am free to say, "I'm a sinner, but saved by grace". I am free to say, "I'm not perfect, I make tons of mistakes". I am free to say, "I am sorry, mommy was wrong, but let's ask Jesus to help".
